🤩 Michelle and Jess from @_miss_spartan came to me excited about their new project, a range of supplements for busy people who train hard and want the best for their health. 🙌🏽 I couldn’t wait to dive into this new phase of their business which brought with it packaging design, new look to the website with e-commerce functionality, new print collateral and digital assets.
I know how passionate Michelle and Jess are about their product, business and clients and I’m thrilled that we were able to create a beautifully cohesive and functional solution for them to grow with @missspartan_protein.

Magazines, my first design love! 😍 Although the fundamental design principles remain the same, designing for print versus digital is a very different game.

✨ Designing for print can include branding, advertisements, magazines, corporate reports, stationary and brochures. A good graphic designer needs to be across print resolutions, Pantone, or CMYK colours, printing bleeds, scale, typography and the importance of proofing.

✨ Digital designers work on website design, mobile apps, 2D or 3D animation and online or social content. Digital designs are crafted specifically for devices, taking into account factors like user experience, interactivity and responsiveness.

If you’re lucky enough to find a designer who is experienced in both print and digital, you’ve hit the jackpot! 🙋🏽‍♀️🎉 You will be guaranteed the sharp eye needed for spacing, typography, colours and hierarchy. Using these foundation skills enables them to design websites as dynamic and compelling as anything they put together in print.
